We have been trying out some of the Zero Point Soups I have discovered on the Weight Watchers website.
We liked this one. It smelled great and tasted good too. It takes a while to make though because I find butternut difficult to handle when it comes to the peeling and dicing, and then there is the time it takes to bake the flesh... but it's totally worth it. One to plan ahead for though.
It's probably because I couldn't get hold of a pumpkin (this close to Halloween? I'm stunned! They'll be every where next week I bet) and used "assorted squash" from Asda instead, but this - as nice as it is - isn't our favourite. I've made it twice though and enjoyed it. I can't wait to try it with ACTUAL pumpkin.
I was bound to love this one, it's very close to the zero point soup we make ourselves anyway. Always good to try a variation though. This one scores high for being a much quicker soup to prepare so it's ideal for after school/work.
Over the next few days I will be experimenting with advice from this article: How To Make: Easy Vegetable Soup
Facebook has changed it’s policy for posts to Facebook pages like mine. They are only showing posts to a few likers unless I pay to boost the views. Since I don't earn money from my blog (or at least not much, not even enough to buy one posh a coffee a week) I wont be doing that. The best way to make sure you will see my blog posts is to subscribe by email up there on the right. I usually only email once a week and include an invitation to my blog hop so you can share your posts too.
You can also go to my page, hover over the “liked” button and select get notifications. Then you will see my posts and status updates in your notifications. Mumma Walker on Facebook
