This is a sweet little machine. It's very simple to set up - I even managed to do that while I had the kids buzzing around me getting ready for school as the first time I wanted to use the pedometer was when I walked to town straight after the school drop off. It's small and very light weight. I slipped it into my jeans pocket and off we went. It also comes with a wrist strap and a clip so you can use it if you're not wearing anything with pockets.
Now, as any of my regular readers will know, I already track my steps using a couple of other apps. So I was able to do a little comparison of what steps the Ozeri Digital Pocket recorded against the others. And I was very impressed as the count was almost exactly the same on all three - I would expect a little discrepancy as nothing counts your steps 100% accurately. Scrolling through the "mode" options I could see distance covered, time spent, and estimated cals burned. Again, because it was set up to my measurements, it largely agreed with the other bits of kit I was carrying. Awesome!
This pedometer comes with a lithium battery included. I was little concerned that this might mean it needed replacing frequently, as my rechargeable ones need sorting every 3-5 days. But I've had this for a while now and it's still going strong. Mainly because the display goes to sleep when you're not moving around - where as my others are constantly on.
This is a great pedometer, especially if you're not looking for something that's not reliant on having an app on a smart phone or linking to a web site. All the info you want from it is right there on the machine and available at the tap of a button. It's small but very clear to read, it's very light weight and versatile to carry around, and has an impressive battery life.

Facebook has changed it’s policy for posts to Facebook pages like mine. They are only showing posts to a few likers unless I pay to boost the views. Since I don't earn money from my blog (or at least not much, not even enough to buy one posh a coffee a week) I wont be doing that. The best way to make sure you will see my blog posts is to subscribe by email up there on the right. I usually only email once a week and include an invitation to my blog hop so you can share your posts too.
